Allahabad enjoys a special mention in the history of India. It was the capital of the Guptas. The British Rule on India   was imposed from here. Therefore the city is having numerous buildings and monuments which gives us the clue of all those events.
Anand Bhawan

It was the home of Nehru family. Many momentous events of freedom struggle took place here. The main building houses a museum which displays relics of Nehru family. One room is devoted to Mahatma Gandhi, where he used to stay. Its photo-picture gallery displays important events of Nehru family. There is one book shop also. 
Time :- 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Closed on Mondays).
