Kotitirth, which is called Shiv Koti (locally called Shiv Kuti) is located on the bank of Ganga. In Shravan (July-August) month of Hindu calender fair is held here. Temple of Shiv is presiding temple. Near by on the bank of Ganga is 'Narayani Ashram'. Managed by female ascetics only. There are few good temples in Ashram.
